116 m (Solo) - CAVE Ras Mamlakh.
06.03.2007
On May 26, 2006 Andrey Chistyakov completed a solo-dive to Cave Ras Mamlakh. The goal of the dive was to further explore the deep water part of the cave. The task was performed, some other 20 meters of guiding ropes were added, the mark of 116 meters was reached, the deep corridor was examined. The cave surprised me again: as far as I could see the bottom had even a sharper decline. Further penetration will be performed in accordance with a different scheme, from the surface through the “windows”. In order to support further penetration, on May 27, 2006 Andrey Chistyakov placed a floater with a polypropylene rope leading from the largest window suitable for passing through with a twin cylinder and two stages. To avoid Для предотвращения unauthorized damage of the floater, it was left at depth of 10 meters. I used a white engine oil canister well-seen through the water column. Details of the floater location are provided in Cave Map section (under construction, will be available here soon).
Dive profile, according to VR3 data.

This picture demonstrates precisely the place where the cave ends and the second exit and “windows” are located. As of today, the surface floater has been removed, and there is only a covert floater at depth of 10 meters (see the next picture)

This is the way the canister indicating the “windows” at the depth of 10 meters looks.
